The second half of May, and summer is definitely here in the Greek islands! Temperatures around mid 80s, and the evenings are warming up beautifully too - the long pants can stay packed most of the time now! However, it's still a long way from busy in our little Dodecanese islands; they are not exactly on the major tourist map anyway - it's still a very uncrowded, "untouristy" time of year.
It's still a good choice also for those who prefer not-so-hot weather, or for those who love to be active on the land, hiking, biking and exploring. Winds are starting to pick up, the summer breezes are usually well-established by this time of year.
