Possibly our most popular trips, our Sept "combos" are always booked out early! One reason for the popularity of this trip is that it's a perfect time to do both countries; the more mellow ambiance of Greece in Sept, the lack of crowds and continuing perfect weather conditions in more southern Turkey at the end of Sept.
We'll be starting in our home island of Leros, and sailing north to visit some of the lesser-known islands for the first few days; our minature-paradise island of Marathi, the tiny fishing villages of Arki and Agathonissi. Patmos - the famous Knights of St John monastery island - will be on the route also, as will the traditional blue-and-white village of Pandeli, and it's ever-friendly locals.
Heading south for Turkey at the end of the first week, we'll be exploring the many bays and backwaters of the Turkish coastline; from tiny, one-family-taverna bays to the lively, bustling little town of Datca, a great spot to dance the night away! In Bozburun, one of our wonderful host families has been known to put on the belly-dancing for us too - which all are encouraged to join in and learn how to wobble their midriffs too... :)
