Bozuk Boku
This is such a total contrast to the bustling life in the modern-day Turkish towns. . .it's back-to-basics rustic living here, just a few hut-like dwellings and one tiny taverna for us yachties. The Family who run the taverna speak only sparse English, but their hospitality doesn't need words to express itself—cups of "chai" (Turkish tea) are always being offered with beaming smiles.

The surrounding landscape is awesome—rocky cliffs towering dramatically over the bay. If you hike up into these hillsides, you can find ruins dating back well into BC times. It's a total contrast to the softer, pine-forested scenery further east along the coast, from the Bay of Fethiye onwards.
