This little Greek town is a great mixture of modern, bustlin' waterfront activities, and very traditional village life further up the hillside. The buildings have a strong Italian influence.. reminds one of Venice a little, rather than the usual square-shaped blue-and-white Greek architecture. A great little jazz bar is one of our favourite spots in the back streets. . .good place to hire mopeds and explore too!

It's a little crowded during the day, when all the day trip boats from Rhodes come in. . .but, being yachties, we get to be there once the day trippers go home—so from late afternoon onwards, it all ours!! :)
