Sailing with Santa

Xmas in Tropical Thailand

Dates: Dec 18-26th, 2017 (8 days). 1550 euros per person

No shopping crowds, no queues, no spending all day fretting over a turkey or whether auntie Beryl will get tipsy again.

Come escape with us and truly have a holiday - chill, swim with myriads of tropical fish, hike to visit the Dragons, kayak into Lost Worlds.

We'll be sailing around the lesser-known islands south of Phuket - some fun little beach bars, complete with massages and cocktails-in-the-pool.... some tiny, tranquil spots that only us yachties and the longtail boats can get to.

All our usual inclusions, of course - breakfasts and lunches, dinners onboard about half the time - all cooked by our amazing Thai chef, Nui ! We have kayaks, snorkel gear, "secret recipe" SeaScape pina coladas - and our local knowledge of where/when to go to miss the masses and see the stunning Thai scenery at it's best.

In the words of our guests

"Everyone must do this at least once in his/her lifetime. Amazing crew, relaxing experience. ... the first two days on the boat gave me the peace and help me to get rid of all the stress and tension..."Matteo G

Phang-Nga Bay

Sailing out of "Touristville Phuket" - our first anchorages feel like slipping another universe; the gravity-defying limestone cliffs and islands create an eerie feeling of some sci-fi movie set.

Phang-Nga Bay is in fact home to the infamous James Bond island; but we won't be battling the hundreds of tourist boats there. We'll be exploring our own just-as-stunning and wonderfully tranquil spots!

We'll hike, swim and kayak into the other-worldly sea caves ("hongs"); anchor for lunch at tiny isolated coves, and feast on our Thai chef's wonderful home-cooking under the stars for dinners!

The southern "typically-tropical" islands

The southern islands are a total scenic contrast. The towering cliffs turn into postcard-worthy white sand beaches and palm trees; the tropical reefs create the most amazingly turquoise waters. We stay away from the overloaded (and over-priced) places like Phi Phi island; little beach bars and local cuisine are more our speed.

Even more unspoilt are the Marine National Park islands of Rok Nok - abounding with tropical fish life and multicoloured coral; the warm, clear waters perfect for snorkellers or newbie divers. Most other charter boats don't make it this far south; there's often just half a dozen yachts anchored here overnight.

Meet our Thai team!

Skippers Ray & Diane are getting to be seriously Old Salts; sailing in Thailand for 10 years..and twice that long in Greece! Our Nui has been cooking up a storm onboard for 6yrs, and entertaining our sailors with her ever-present smile and infectious laugh.
